Yes neatness is a commendable asset for journalist. Neatness is a sign of respect because we take care of things we value. A journalist is a person who collects, writes, photographs, processes, edits or comments on news or other topical information to the public. Journalism has a broader horizons and all aspect under it demand a great ordeal. Journalism is deemed an important media genre because it provides information for citizens, mediates between them and their representatives, and holds those in power in check (Peters and Witschge, 2014). 

Neatness is a valuable assets for journalist in all areas of journalism. As a saying goes you are addressed by your dress, meaning your reception is a factor of your appearance which neatness is part. Journalists have found themselves in a complex relationship with audiences as they help gather and distribute news (Tim & martin, 2018). The journalist has a direct relation with the public, in gathering or dissemination of information. If you are are TV presenter then you are an icon to the populace. Many look up to you on so many instances, always wanting to see a new you, which add value to your program. Neatness is another aspect that catches the attention of your audience.

Moreover, neatness is a sign of order and discipline. Also, is the fact of having a regular, proper and systematic arrangement. Journalist research, writes, edit, proofread and file news stories, features and articles. As journalist neatness is a commendable asset, in your research as a duty have to be a systematic arrangement of your findings. There has to be an evident of neatness in your writings. Public love or prefer one news to the other because of how it is neatly presented and arranged. If you are neat with your journalism, utmost is your target. How neatly your article is arranged calls for the maximum attention of your audience to read or probe more into it.

With the recent program on ‘TV3 Date Rush’, when you look at the setting of the show, from start to finish you will see systematic arrangement of the program. The language used is curved to suit that program and how the presenter “Giovanni” is dressed for that program and also how it is orderly arranged means neatness as a sign of order and discipline is evident on that show. 

However, there have been instances that a presenter has been held responsible for not able to maintain order on the show. Neatness has multi dimensions, is not only about your appearance but how orderly and pure your commentary is part of it. You need to put sanctity on your show to maintain that higher echelon of integrity. 

Again when you are on the field to gather information, how your questionnaires are structured defines how orderly you are. The chronological flow of your gathering of info also defined your disciplinary measures. As a journalist how orderly and discipline you are is a valuable asset that is commendable. Much audience opt for particular journalist to interview a particular personality because of how neatly the person is when it comes to its delivery.

Last year December, the President happens to be in Kumasi and for that matter on the Kessben media platform. Most of the public gave hearing to that media platform because of the journalist—‘Omanhene’ who was to interview the president. It is evident in his work of how systematic manner he is. Moreover, how he takes his task serious and do more research on his field. His dressing is a plus to him and moreover his utterances of words are something you would love to hear again. 

Also let not your work leave more room for doubt. Some media’s are not given the audience because of the false info they have been putting in the public domain. As neat as you are as journalist would not be found in such act just to the populace. Fact gathering and filtering is an essential component in the field of journalism. However, is only the discipline once in the field will inculcate in their work. You would be commended the public domain when your work can be rely on for a fact. 

 In conclusion it can be seen from the earlier submission that neatness is a commendable asset for journalist. In all facet of journalism you cannot undermine neatness in quest of becoming a good journalist.
